Physical Location
Before excavating over or in the vicinity of our fibre network you should have the fibre cables located by an approved cable location service.
The following three organisations are approved by thelink:
- United Group – Hope – 03 544 7440
- Powertrace – Nelson – 027 230 7456
- Marlborough Lines – Taylor Pass Industrial Park, Blenheim - 577 7007
While location devices will indicate the presence of underground services they should not be relied upon as the sole means of locating cables. Once located we encourage careful potholing to physically locate the cable. >read more
